Hiding a child items

Looking for a way to Hide a Child item, but leaving the parent available. I want to Hide a Dry Slide option of a Wet/Dry Slide during my peak Summer season as these rent out primarily as Wet and I other options for Dry Slides.

I know the work around, just go in and make that Item Not-Active during that time period. I want to have it not available on June 1, but by June 1 I'll have a lot of reservations for June already.

In the rental item, go to advanced features->Select Pages and uncheck the "quote request form" checkbox.

Will this give me a date range? Say I want to hide this from June 1 to Sept 5. Kind of like a Maintenance item.

No, but I would recommend putting them in maintenance during the range you don't want customer booking them as well.

Tried that. Can't put them in maintenance, it will put the parent in maintenance also.

You're right. Sorry. I forgot we were talking about a parent/child.
