Today, when I delete a lead the item is grayed out, wheel turns without ending and then I am bumped out of IO.

I see what you are saying. We'll get this fixed on the next release. For now, you can click F5 to refresh the page after deleting a lead if it freezes. (it does actually delete the lead even though the page doesn't refresh properly.
