Is there a way for multi day events to be removed from the calendar on the inbetween days. I only want to see the install and tear down days

So I changed these settings under Lights Around google calendar and they are still showing every day

no, that is only showing event start and event start, but on my calendar it is showing every day. What do I need to select here to now show it every day
