Attaching your purchased domain to the site on IO is done during the launch process. When you are ready to launch fill out the form below.

I think I may be past this stage is there anyway to go back and add it

I don't see a launch request from your account history. You can still choose to launch whenever you'd like. The launch form gets me everything I'll need to put the website on a domain of your choosing, so I would still recommend it in order to launch your website.
