Automation Enhancements

I would like to use variables in my automations. Like set field to *currentdate* or something like that
I also would like to build an automation so that when a customer does a question/comment I can have it enter into the CRM rather than event notes. So Add Journal Entry to customer CRM = *eventnotes*
I am also re-asking for the ability to set triggers that repeat automations 😬

Have you tried the journal entry idea? you can select "journal" from the drop down when you set the automation to "create task"
I've heard of people putting variables in uncommon places and it working, so wondered if you tried it and know it doesn't work or if you didn't realize the journal option was there.
