Allow Contractor Pay to be a % on rental items like Custom Deposit (choice of $ or %)

Under Consideration

Have many commercial customers who like to pre-pay a gratuity on events. Can we allow the option on a Rental Item to have Contractor Pay function more like Custom Deposit with the option of $ or %.

I have considered making the gratuity an item where they pick a quantity, and the Contractor Pay is $1 per unit, but think the other is easier on the end user.
