Hello,

It is trying to authenticate with your wordpress site but getting a 404 error (page not found) when it goes to the page http://www.YOURWEBSITE.COM/oauth/token
Looking at your website pages it looks like it's setup incorrectly and /index.php/oauth/token/ is the correct URL.
So you can look into correcting it so that index.php is not in the path (contact your host for help or see here

ok so i got passed the checking credentials error by fixing the permalinks as you instructed me too but now i get something else. I tried doing another completely different site on completely different domain and still getting exactly the same thing. not sure of what i may be doing wrong??

You need to uninstall the wp-api version 2 plugin and install the wp-api (non version 2). Then try it again
