Text reminders to customers

It would be AWESOME if we could somehow incorporate text reminders. For example, 5 days before an event date, if the customer hasn't booked, a text saying "Hey, your event is 5 days away so we just re-emailed your quote. Be sure to book by tomorrow if you still want to move forward". Or the day before a booked event "check your email for important reminders about your event tomorrow. Pay your final balance by clicking HERE" etc


Not sure how that would work with your existing texting service...probably wouldnt. But there are some services out there built to integrate into software like yours. We use Twilio for texting to our photo booth customers.


We also use RingCentral as our phone system which has unlimited built-in texting as well. Just a thought!

We are looking into Twilio integration, but there isn't a development plan set in stone yet.

I would love it if you went the Twilio or Ring Central route - you could simply have us post our verification info on the settings section much like Authorize.net info. Would be great to be able to hit up customers the morning of the event with info about their host, arrival times, etc. Perhaps if you exposed some of our info via an API we could do it outside of IO, which would get you out of having to develop all the intricate custom features...

You could auto loading delivery time on text info via "delivery" tab.
