Taxcloud/taxrate issues

The deposit was already paid on this, and tax rate

correct. Customer called to make balance payment. Processed. Sent

contract. Shows $5.xx more tax due. Showing a different taxrate warning

than normal. Obviously, the balance due we processed was what it was

showing due...then moments later it increased, likely because of the

TaxCloud error.

Also showing wrong county for venue.

Please advise.


We are pretty fed up with all the 'temp outages' as this is now the 14th day this season we've had at least 1 taxcloud glitch. Many we report, many we dont. If we disable tax cloud entirely, what features will be lost/un-usable? I'm willing to go back to manually sending in our tax payments if it will limit the confusion on the end of our phone reps and irate customers who get conflicting contracts/receipts.

Our tax provider made changes without alerting us. We've fixed the issue. We are looking at improvements to the tax system and possibly working with another provider.
