Question About Template Variables

I was wondering if there is a way to get the day of the week in the *fulltdownwindow* and the *fullsetupwindow* ? I have tried using the *setupday* and *tdownday* to do so. But those use durations when the windows are not set. The issue that I have is we schedule delivery/pickup after the customer books there event. What happens is if I use the *setupday* and *tdownday* without those windows filled in on the back end/contract tab section, they use durations and fill that in on the contract. Then my customer thinks we are coming the day of the event and not a day or two before which is our standard for my company. This only happens when the delivery windows are not filled out. What would be ideal is a template variable with the window only option and not the durations type as for example like this (Sun, Jun 10, 2018 1:00pm - 4:00pm)

Is there a way to make this work?

Thanks Eric

Yeah I tried both of those as well. They do not do what I want them to do. They still show up when the (window only) section is empty. With those implied in a email they show that delivery and pickup are the same day as the event when the delivery and pickup windows are empty on the contract tab on the back end. This makes my customers think that there event is being delivered the same day and picked up the same day. This is because I think they go off the durations window if those windows are not set? Right now I use "fullsetupwindow" and "Fulldownwindow" which only shows whats in the contract tab delivery window on the back end. I wish that these options had the day of the week in them or there was an option "setupdaywindow" and "takedowndaywindow". Let me know if there is a way to display this. It would be very helpful for us and our customers!

I misunderstood and though you did want them in always *fulltdownwindow* and the *fullsetupwindow* would be blank if they aren't specifically set.

Yes they are blank when they are not specifically set. I just wish there was a way to have the day of the week in there that way too. This is because the only time that I want the day (ex. Fri) to show is when that window is filled out. I'm assuming that there isn't a way to do this? Ideally I would like it to show like this when the window is filled out (Fri, Jun 10, 2018 1:00pm - 4:00pm). I don't want it to show anything when there is nothing in the window.

Thanks Eric
