Packages, and multi-item discounts are stacking?

I thought the system would only process one automatic "deal" per order. Lately, we noticed that if a customer orders laser taggers and a bouncer, not only do they get the "$199 bouncer/tagger special" ( package)where the system applies a $109 discount, but also a multi-item discount of 10% on top of that ( both items are listed as valid items for this promo, we just don't know how to make only one discount or the other apply)

Is this how it's supposed to work? For now, we disabled the "$199 bouncer/tagger" package.

The system has always allowed items given their own line in the leads page to "stack."

Any way around this, or not? Not a big deal for now, we will just keep it disabled. But a customer will never be able to get the promo pricing on their own

Not at the moment but we're aware that it's an issue needing some more flexibility involved. But we have other users relying on it to price things correctly, so we can't make changes that would adversly affect them.
