mileage for payroll inacurate?
Answered
Hey guys, I have a lead #479815 was charged $1.00 per mile and therefor charged $34.59 total for mileage. The problem I am having is that the worker who worked the event is showing payment for mileage higher than that, when their mileage pay should below that amount. I have the worker set to received $.50 round trip after traveling 50 miles round trip, and I tried changing the scheduled location from "event" to "warehouse", and though it was lower, it was still well above the 34. miles we charged for the event. Any idea what that's about?
The Schedule tab has her set to meet at the event, so for the worker payroll it calculates the mileage from her house to the event which is 65 miles one way.
If you switch it to meet at the warehouse, she lives 35 miles away.
meet at event: 65 miles *2 = 130 miles - 50 = 80 miles * $0.50 = $40
meet at warehouse: 35 miles *2 = 70 miles - 50 = 20 miles *$0.50 = $10
