switching from quickbooks desktop to quickbooks online

I just switched from quickbooks desktop to quickbooks online and have added that option from the settings area. Do I need to delete the quickbooks desktop version that is there also?

Make the desktop version inactive when you turn on the online version and you should be good to go!
