Recurring lead causing ghost conflicts after changing date of recurring event?

Why does lead 63308043 conflict with lead 71193973?
I think this is an issue because lead 63308043 is a recurring event. The event happens on the first Friday of each month, but because there's no recurring pattern available for that, I had to just say "every 4 weeks" and then reschedule the one automatically made for 7/31 to 8/7. However, it looks like the items in the recurring event are still unavailable for 7/31, despite the lead being moved to a new date.
