Specifically I just want them to be able to be a differentiator. It would be great if we could select the colors. Ideally, we'd see these in the report columns and it wouldn't just be the text, but a box around the text.

So you want tags, not tasks to be colored? Originally you said tasks. We currently have a color differentiator for tags which would interfere with allowing you to color them. If the tag is one color, the tag was set on the customer as a result of that lead. If the other color, the tag was set on the customer previous to that lead.

Yes, tags. I never noticed that color difference. Is it yellow and green? could you turn that off and allow us to choose our colors. OR maybe don't worry about changing customer tags colors but allow us to change colors on leads?
