Automation Timing is way off

We have an automation that is WAY OFF on timing. See lead 32512659 for an example. The event was on Sept 6th of last year. The automation was supposed to run 350 days after the event BOOK DATE which was 8/27/24. That puts the automation sending at sending on August 12, 2025. However it didn't send till 8/28/25 which they already had their event by (lead 50259803).


Further more, It's also not supposed to send if there is contact next event date is set...which it is.


This is not the only one that has happened. we got a few people responding to this ON their event date.


Also, side note, the log on the automations shows who made a change to it, but does not show the leads it's been applied to anymore. I thought it used to show the leads.

I am having the developers take a look. If you are able to provide additional lead examples for them to take a look at that would be great. Thank you

You may need to narrow down the lead book date time more. In the case for the lead example provided, lead 50259803 had created their new lead on 8/8/25 which would have prevented the automation from triggering for lead 32512659.

But once the event start time passed for 50259803, the original lead was once again affected by the filter as it was in Complete status, Book date over 350 days ago, and there wasn't a future date anymore.

You could try adding an additional layer/cut off date in the filter: Book Date is less than x days ago to narrow it down.
