what is the difference between the quote confirm and the quote confirm email

i am reviewing our process to send customer quote from the admin and i was wandering what is the difference and where are used those 2 different templates:

Quote confirm email : https://rental.software/account/#/settings/pages/inoff_pages,141465
Just want to make sure i use the system to the best way possible

The quote confirm is what the customer sees...the email version is what you/workers see in your email alerts.
