How to build a filter that would include active AND inactive rentals ?

I think you have to make it inactive OR active because a rental cannot be both (and)

The best way to do this would be directly from the inventory page...(not a saved filter) click on both active and inactive and be sure "Any" is checked. (see screenshots)
