Multiple Contract requests

Hi!

When the customer selects to Book Now and the Contract and payment page is sent - the contract is showing 4 times for signature. Is there something wrong on my end or is this software error? How can I have it set to where it only shows 1 time?

Can you give us the lead # where this happened so we can take a look? Thanks

Here are a few lead #'s however, it's on every single one of my bookings...

#64340457

#64450343

#64248417

I just need to one basic contract for every booking right now.

We have our developers looking into this further and will advise when we have an update.

Here is what developers have found:

The customer is seeing extra signature sections because one of their page templates is misconfigured, not because the lead has four contracts.

Their active Basic Contract template includes the variable *template-damage_fee_schedule* twice, once after “Full Repair Cost” and once after “Full Replacement Cost.” That variable resolves to an active page titled Damage Fee Schedule, but that page is currently a full Waiver Page instead of simple damage-fee text. Because of that, the system inserts the entire waiver signing page into the contract two times when the contract snapshot is created.

This is the Damage Fee Schedule page that includes the extra signatures that are being shown on the contract page. https://rental.software/account/#/settings/documentcenter/dcpages/inoff_pages,1107905

This would probably need to be something custom they write, because I am not sure what they were trying to accomplish with this.

That is what we would need to do to fix the already signed contracts, since the content is saved after signing. Let us know if you need those removed for contracts that have already been signed.

I dont need anything done for the already signed contracts. I just need it fixed so moving forward there is only the one contract to sign.

Ok thanks for advising.

What are you trying to accomplish with the Damage Fee Schedule page?

in my contract it states to review the Damage Fee Schedule, and I thought that this was what was appearing but I see now that is not what is happening. I have made that page inactive.

Thanks for advising. So is there anything outstanding here that you still require assistance with or are we good to close out the ticket with developers?

It looks like you stopped the extra signatures from showing, but the contract page does not look right, and may include no signature input now, based on what developers see on lead https://rental.software/account/#/leads/66051157/lead. We recommend you might want to start back with the defaults, but the issue with the damage waiver showing was fixed by making it inactive.

Ok, just so I am clear, now people think they are signing the contract but they are not, the contract still shows multiple time over and over for signature on the contract page, and now you want me to do what exactly? Switch back to the defaults? What defaults. The 'contract template' that came with the platform is not what my contract should say? I need the contract page to work utilizing my terms and conditions. How can we make that happen?

I've copied your terms over to a clean template and removed the damage fee schedule template variable as this is what is causing the page to break. The contract I re-made is "New Basic Contract", take a look at lead 66051157 I have it set there. If you want this one default going forward you can set it in the Settings--Document Center--Contract Templates or let me know and I will set it for you.
