Developer has advised we do not have this planned at the moment. Optional fields are not present anywhere in the app at this time.

First and most importantly, I want to be able to set availability in the app. So when we add something to maintenance, we can determine whether it's worth taking out of inventory. We don't add things to maintenance in the office often. Sometimes we're out on the job site.

We also use maintenance for log cleaning. So putting something in through the app and it showing as unavailable is not desired.

For that same reason, if I create optional fields, I'd like to be able to set them in the app too. No use case yet for it, but I don't see how it's not beneficial to be able to do it in the app.
