Event Notes Template Variable in Quote Request

Hey all, I'm trying to have a Text Area in the Quote Request where people requesting a quote can enter notes about their event. I've tried linking it to the *eventnotes* and the *eventnotes_text*, but while it lets us submit the quote request, it doesn't link the text to the Event Notes on the Lead. I event got the Event Notes to show up on the quote confirmation if I add it through the Lead. It just won't show up on the quote request template.

That's a neat idea. I created a new optional field to make all of this work. I'm going to look deeper into doing it this way. maybe change the value to only eventnotes since there is no definition of what eventnotes_text is.

Alternatively, you may try just adding _text to all of them and see what that does

I tried *eventnotes* first, then *eventnotes_text*. They are both in template variables list, but it only seems to do anything after the initial quote. I would like them to be able to add the info during their initial request for a quote.

I created you a new field Customer Event Notes and have it placed under the regular event notes on the lead page. I also have it added to your quote request page. If you want thee notes to appear in other templates you can use this variable here (*customfield-359517*).

You can always create an optional field like I did. That for sure works..
