canceled leads with contracts

Why is the system erasing/deleting the contracts on leads that have been canceled? We still need to see the contracts and have a copy of the signature on the contract.

If you go to the contract section of lead it's still there....someone generated a new one:

ok thanks. Yes, when you click on it, it says the contract is not available. I can click on edit to view it, but the links no longer work

To make the links active again you need to go to the contract section of the lead and make the other signed template active see attached.
