Viewing PDF attachments in IO APP

Has there been any more movement on being able to view PDF files that are attached to the lead.
We have contracts, layouts, billing summary, notes etc all that we scan and attach to our orders for our records, but when the staff trys to use the app, they are still unable to view...
This is very important for our field staff..
Can you let me know what status is
