Resurrect a dead feature

I know this has been requested many times since the dawn of new IO, but here goes: Make it quicker to select status filters like in old IO. I would love to be able to select multiple statuses before closing this dropdown, rather than select one, open the dropdown, select another, open dropdown, repeat.
I like this idea
