I need help setting up my overnight pricing rule.

I want my normal single-day rental to cover the event window from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

If a customer selects an end time later than 8:00 PM, I want the cart to automatically add a $60 overnight fee and change/show the rental ending time as 7:00 AM the following morning.

I also want the customer-facing cart option to say “Overnight Rental” instead of just “Overnight.”


Here is the pricing structure I am trying to set up:

Single Day Rental:

The base rental should cover our standard event window of 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM.

Overnight Rental:

If a customer needs the rental past 8:00 PM, I want a $60 overnight fee to automatically apply. The overnight rental should end at 7:00 AM the following morning.

2-Day Rental:

I want customers to be able to add a second day for 35% more than the base rental price. For example, if the item starts at $699, the second-day upgrade would be $245.

For anything longer than 2 days, I would prefer the customer contact us directly instead of offering a discounted automatic rate online.

My ideal cart logic would be:

If the customer selects an end time of 8:00 PM or earlier, it stays the normal single-day base price.

If the customer selects an end time after 8:00 PM, it adds the $60 overnight fee and sets the rental end time to 7:00 AM the next morning.

If the customer selects a second day, it adds 35% of the base rental price.
