error setting up email

Issue with email settings for IO account: JBRentals. Error: Your email settings are incorrect. Please fix them. If you've checked your email settings and it appears to be working, it may be a temporary issue and can be ignored. For more information, visit the Knowledge Base. Will not retry sending. Subject: smtptest. Error Details: failed to connect to :587 [smtp: failed to connect socket: $addr cannot be empty (code: -1, response: )]


This is the message I received in my email when testing it out. I have an email set up with NameCheap, Inc. I'm not sure what to put in the outgoing email server field

You don't have an email at all in there. You have to add your email in for the outgoing email.

I don't know what to put in the outgoing email server box. I tried my email, and I tried 587. Sorry, I'm not sure what to enter

I just wanted to confirm that you email host is namecheap is that correct?

The outgoing server port is 465 or 587, Outgoing email Server: mail.privateemail.com
