Payment for Staff using Backend

I want to set up my staff member to take payments and post them to the leads but that is all.

I have tried several permissons and it will not allow them to save the payment

i DO NOT want them to have full edit ability to the orders for this particular user...

how can i get just payment posting to work in permissions?

That worker profile has "read only" permissions . They would need the "full access" permission selected.

If you are still trying on that same lead it was showing a expired credit card?

OK that worked but here is why it worked

that lead was created by FRONT and payment by FRONT

i need FRONT to be able to not create or edit orders only view and post payments

if FRONT has the ability to edit orders etc then yes it works

if FRONT accesses adn order that was not created by them the error comes up under the sales person name in red

So what i need is the ability to assign a staff person (FRONT) the ability to view and order make no changes but post payments when checks come in We dont want to allow this person to alter the order in any way except payment

Then you need to be sure the permissions are set for that worker profile to make changes on all leads...let me take a look

It was a permission about assigning sales rep? it should be working on that test lead now

THAT WORKS, but the issue is it gives that user that should be only able to view a lead and post payments full access to change anything on the lead

i ahve changed prices, qty etc and posted payments and it works just fine just like a fully active user..

How can i make that user PAYMENT POSTING ONLY...

It seem the permissioin to add or edit payments is programmed to allow add or edit anything not just paymnets
