Customer Pickups and Delivery Planner

Is there a way to get the delivery planner to separate the Customer Pickup items into a separate "truck" when you run it? Trying to pull them out without having to click on each one to move it manually. I want the system to put all the customer pickup orders in one "Truck" if that makes sense. This way my crew at the shop, knows what to pull, just like those on the routes.

Hi Kirk,

You can go to Settings-->Vehicles and create a vehicle named "Customer Pickup". You will then create a vehicle shift on the customer pickup leads and use the "Customer Pickup" Vehicle. When routing from the delivery planner, you will see an extra vehicle row for the customer pickup vehicle which you can add these leads to for setting up trucks.

I forgot to mention something important here haha. The customer pickup delivery method would have to be charging distance charges though to show on the delivery planner. If you are simply wanting to print out the packing lists for these customer pickup leads, you can create a filter stating "delivery type contains customer pickup" and run this filter on the leads page. You can then click the check box in the top left to check all leads and click "Print". You would then make sure the packing list document is selected, then you can print all of the packing lists for these customer pickup leads.

Can you add a date range for this print? I do not want old ones.

On the left hand side of page you can choose the dates before you print. You can choose dates, statuses and do an advanced search for only pick ups:

We use to do what Kirk suggested.

We found a way where you don't have to move them into a vehicle.

First, you have to have a delivery type that says customer pick up/will call

Do not have those show up on your delivery planner and setting your delivery fee for this to be $0

then, create a report that pull customer pick ups/will calls

then have a button to check when you print it off, so it doesn't pull up again. But don't forget to uncheck it if they cancel or change the date, so it can be printed again in the future.

It works great and our Will Call department loves it. Keep them off the delivery planner!

Thanks Curtis. Now let me see if I am smart enough to figure that out.

Curtis, can you show me what you put in the report and then how this button you speak of happens and placement?
