Time Card Question when clocking in and outg

When a team member clocks in, they choose a job and then clock out again at the end. Will it adjust in the payroll report to the actual time worked or will it just add up all the jobs they did for that shift?

Hope this makes sense.

If I am understanding what you are asking...if they let's say clock in from 8am to 5pm....and they are scheduled to 3 jobs during that time...it will show the clock in times and the events grouped for that total shift.

It looks to me like it is counting it all, the shift and the cocked in time as well. Maybe I am looking at it wrong. Should we jump on a call?

Any updates? I need to run hours for payroll and this report is messed up.

Developer is still trying to see what caused this...in the meantime he says try running payroll and only "approve" correct shifts before you export the report

The issue is that I do not know what time they clocked in and out . Can you tell me that?

If you click on the "hours" for the unassigned shifts for that day it shows their clock in and out for those hours. So for example Garrett's shifts you see he was clocked in 7:51-3:11 and 6:05-10:16.

But I also have some that when they clocked in, chose the shift, and it does not show any unassigned hours.

Can you give some examples of that? Are you sure the did clock in and out?

Look at Garrett Gunderson on the 24th. It shows a total hours of 43.52 hours in one day.

Same as weeks prior. Look at Xay Her. It is adding all of his "shift hours" plus his clock hours. and paying him for two jobs during the same time.

I have a dev looking at this too. In meantime...you can do what we suggested before and click on the actual time clock times so that only those are approved and export the payroll report with only approved shifts/time entries

When I do that, if you click on them all, it is still showing clocked hours for the same time on two jobs.. So riddle me this. If you take Xay Her from May 26th through June 1, how many hours did he work?

When you say "click on them all" do you mean all shifts or all unassigned clock in/out? You would have to do the export to see the total of these...it won't show on this page
