Dashboard - Growth Charts

Growth charts are simple charts that show improvement or decline for one statistic over a period of time. Let's look at a common example of the Lead $ Total field as the data value and Lead Book Date as the time value. Let's also set our time period to Year to Date.

  • Lead $ Total: This shows the summation of lead totals for any lead that is in a status set to show on reports that has a book date from the start of the year to now.
  • Previous Lead $ Total: This shows the summation of lead totals for any lead that is in a status set to show on reports that has a book date from the previous year start to today's date the previous year.
  • Percentage Change: The percentage change is based on the above two calculations and shows the positive or negative change in the value.
  • Estimated Lead $ Total: The estimated value is the previous year's value plus the difference between the two values above.

You can obviously choose to compare values other than the Lead $ Total. You can also choose different time values and time periods to analyze. For instance, if you choose This Month, the comparison will be to last month. You will notice that we only give an estimated value if you are using Year to Date as the time period.

YTD Sales Difference

This chart will show you your total bookings up to today. It helps you compare how your bookings are this year compared to the same time for previous years. For example, if today is June 4th 2022, then the 2022 column will only include sales that were booked between January 1st - June 4th 2022.This shows your total sales by month YTD. They should not match unless the date has passed. For example, looking at May, the numbers for YTD sales should match the total sales.

Sales by Month

This shows your total sales by month very similar to YTD sales by Month.
