Basic Putt-Putt Mini Golf Rules

Objective: Get the ball in the hole using the fewest strokes.

Definition of a Stroke: Each time the putter touches the ball counts as one stroke, regardless of the result. Missing entirely doesn't count as a stroke.

Honor System: Count your strokes honestly to keep the game fun.

Balls Leaving the Putting Area: If your ball leaves the putting area, restart from the tee. The errant shot counts as a stroke, but no additional penalty is applied.

Who Hits First: Decide the initial order amongst your group. After the first hole, the player with the lowest score on the previous hole hits first. If scores are tied, use the previous order.

Hitting Order After Teeing Off: The player farthest from the hole hits first, continuing until the hole is completed.

Rules of Stroke Play

1. The winner is the player with the fewest strokes.
2. A one-stroke penalty is applied if the ball jumps the fairway or gets snagged in an obstacle.
3. On the putting green, the player closest to the hole putts first and continues until the ball is in the cup.

Player's Responsibilities

1. Check your score for accuracy after each hole.
2. No handicapping of scores.
3. Do not delay play.
4. Practice strokes during a hole or between holes are forbidden. A practice swing is not a stroke unless the ball is hit.
5. Count all strokes, including penalty strokes.
