Frequently Asked Questions

Does the price include delivery and pick up?

Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas outside of Tri-Cities. Remember prices do not include sales tax

When do I have to pay for the rental of the equipment?
Online payments can be made at time of booking. Payment is due in full on or before delivery of the rental equipment. Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash.

We've rented some really dirty inflatables from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?

No. We pride ourselves on having clean and sanitized equipment. The inflatable should be delivered clean or cleaned on site. We clean each bounce house after use using ProForce cleaning and disenfecting products.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to your event in order to receive a full refund. Cancellations made after the 48 hour time window will not be refunded but will become store credit. Cancellations must be made no later than 10pm the night before the event in order to receive store credit.

What is your policy on inclement weather?

Jumping Around Party Rentals reserves the right to make the final decision to cancel a rental due to inclement weather defined as: 15-20+ SUSTAINED winds (with higher gusts), 60% or higher chance of rain, and/or temperatures below 40° F. If this is the case, we will contact you the day prior or the morning of your event to discuss options. We can not set up in high winds or if it is actively raining, due to increased risks of injury or electrocution. All funds payed to Jumping Around Party Rentals will become store credit. If a Customer chooses to have the unit delivered in uncertain weather conditions, we will be unable to provide a reimbursement for bad weather.

Are there any cleaning fees?
We expect to receive our inflatables back in a fairly clean condition. We realize that children in and out of it all day, can allow grass to enter by means of their socks. We will not charge for cleaning this. However, since you will receive a list of general rules at the time of setup, any food, drink stains or not following any other listed rule of this nature will result in a minimum $35.00 clean-up fee at the time of pickup. SILLY STRING IS NOT ALLOWED. Silly string will permanently bond to the inflatable. The inflatable will be inspected before its packed up at your location.

Do you have Insurance?
Yes, Jumping Around Party Rentals is fully insured for general liability coverage. We are only responsible for our own negligence, not the client's. This statement in no way implies legal responsibility. In reserving your bounce house you will be required to sign a rental agreement and "General Release and Hold Harmless" form that lists specific terms and conditions of the rental.

When do you set up?

That depends on how many rentals we have that day. Generally we arrive 1-3 hours before the rental time begins. If we have a lot of rentals that day, we may need to set up as early as 4 hours in advance. If this is the case, we will call the Friday before to confirm that someone will be at the party location.

Do you deliver to other cities?

Yes, but once again please be aware that due to rising gas prices and the possible need for an extra truck and labor that travel fees can be quite high. Please call our office for a current quote.

What about parks? Do parks have electricity?

We love setting up at parks but some parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, please make sure there is electricity available. If not, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day.

How big are the inflatables?

Most of our inflatables are 13X13. Please note some are VERY big and require extra space. When in doubt, measure your space and give us a cal at 509-492-2023 to make sure it will fit. Inflatables need room to be staked and they need room for the blower and can't rub against walls or trees as this may damage the inflatable. If you have stairs or a tiered backyard, please call our office to discuss options for setup

What about the big inflatables? Any special requirements?

Make sure you have at least 4 feet of access to the area where it will be set up. The inflatables can weigh up to 650 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room. Inflatables must NOT be set up at a distance further than 75'

What surfaces do you set up on?

We can set up on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the constant rubbing will wear through the vinyl.

Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?

Yes and no. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If this happens please alert us at once so we can remedy the situation. Depending on the situation, if the inflatable is damaged due to a preventable circumstance.. (example: dog chewed on it, someone cut it with a knife, or sharp object on clothes, or SILLY STRING), then a repair fee will be incurred. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We don't want you or us to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.

How many kids can you have in the bounce house at a time?
Usually around 6 or 7 kids but it really depends on their size. The best way to keep the bounce houses safe is to separate the smaller kids from the bigger kids.
